My place is A two bedroom updated trailer at Eagle Lake! So if you want to do some glamping this is the place to go. There are two beaches on the lake which are about a mile away. I have a golf cart to get you there along with beach chairs and umbrella. You can walk (or take the golf cart) to the Olympic size pool that has an awesome water playground for the little ones. There is a really good restaurant and miniature golf and ice cream parlor and general store so you do not need your car at all. I have a Weber grill and and wrap around deck with A really quaint fire pit area in the back woods. There are hammocks set up so you can kick back and just relax. There is a New queen size sleeper couch. Plus new flooring. Tea kettle and Kurig coffee maker along with pots and pans. It’s a wonderful place to just relax or swim and hike. There are awesome golf courses near by and waterparks and also ATVing for some really fun adventures. It’s close to the outlets and some really good restaurants. I love this place so much I wanted to share it with you. You will want to come back every year. The Poconos is a really perfect place to getaway.

On this main floor, enjoy a warm and large open floor plan with tons of windows and light, high ceilings, a kitchen that has granite counters and all the kitchenware needed for your stay. There’s a dining table that seats 8-10, another comfortable sectional pull out couch with a reclining seat, our second wood-burning stone fireplace, a 65” Smart TV, cable, DVD player and sound bar for more game and movie enjoyment. You can head upstairs to the loft and play foosball, bubble hockey, board games, home school or work from the desk or relax on the comfortable couches (they’re all comfy!). We are in the highest point of the Poconos so it typically stays cool in the house at night during warm weather months. While we haven't had to use the air conditioning in the summer, we have a newly installed system ready for your comfort. We also have box fans in every bedroom. Outside, enjoy s'mores and relaxing by the fire pit, play a game of soccer, baseball or cornhole in the yard or setup the projector outside to watch a movie under the stars. We have a charcoal grill, parking for many and wood for the fireplaces. You can also have an adventure and find your own sticks and wood for the fire pit in the wooded lot that’s yours for exploring. No burning of brush or trees or anything of an inflammable nature other than for outdoor cooking, using a standard manufactured grill and using reasonable precaution, shall take place on members’ property. Any member or guest that violates this provision shall be fined and required to extinguish the fire at the direction of staff. A mesh screen must be on the fire pit when burning. Our well kept, authentic log cabin is located on a quiet and private 1.5 acre lot in the kid friendly and gated, vacation community of Big Bass Lake. Our highly rated, gold star community has three pristine lakes, a heated indoor and outdoor pool, a new club house with a game room, tennis, snow tubing, skiing, ice skating, basketball, hiking, and many planned social, art and recreational activities for children and adults. In the summer there is a tennis pro and swim lessons. The community is close enough to major attractions in the Poconos (Mt Pocono, Family Fun Center, Camelback/Camelbeach, and the Premium outlets to name a few), fifteen minutes from Scranton and Montage Mountain, a newly renovated ski resort. If you feel like staying in or doing nothing at all, sit and relax on the porch swing, enjoy our free Wifi or smart TV! Note on rates - The rates quoted are generally accurate, but feel free to check with us if something seems amiss. We will also work within a guests budget if we can and it's a reasonable request. We sometimes add a fee or make the security deposit higher for a larger group or multiple pets. Another note, our summer weekly rentals are Friday to Friday or Sunday to Sunday. Please note that this is primarily a warm-weather cottage. While we enjoy the cabin in the winter, it can very cold and you need an adventurous, outdoorsy spirit. The third bedroom, which is a separate Florida room, is only usable if temperature are above freezing. The main home will sleep a family of six or one or two couples comfortably. There is no hot tub in the winter, as it's part of the pool area that is only open in summer. It is, however, the perfect romantic or family getaway for winter sports. Wireless is spotty near our cabin, but available free at the community center and local McDonalds. In December, January and February, we will rent weather permitting and will offer comparable re-booking if weather interferes with a stay.
